A review of the understanding, meaning and purpose of divine verses by in terpreters in the first century requires the thought identity-building components and the cultural and social context after the revelation of the Quran. The first interpreters as early understanders with dissimilar aspects in connection with the historical background and linguistic and cultural components associated with it, as well as companionship with the Prophet of Islam (p.b.u.h.) and familiarity with modern life and subsequent changes in the living conditions after the Prophet (p.b.u.h.) gave rise to different understandings and interpretive methods. After the Companions, the way was paved for the creation of interpretive schools by the followers of these schools, which led to the reproduction of new interpretive texts with various theoretical approaches. This study seeks to find out the elements affecting the heterogeneity of understanding the revelatory text in the early Islamic period and explain them using the genealogy method and its related elements in a descriptive and analytical manner. In addition, the present study has concluded that the actions of interpreters and their influence on different areas of culture and lived experience and their relationship with the power institution led to the change, transformation and reproduction of new interpretive schools and methods.
