The prophecy of the prophets is a natural and inherent necessity for man as the heavenly books are never instrumental by themselves. God has sent the prophets to explain the truth and guide the people towards righteousness, so that the truth is clarified to everyone. The prophecy of the prophets denotes the beginning of the fight against any kind of polytheism, superstition and ideological and practical deviation. Relying on the viewpoints of the Quran, Nahj al-Balaghah and the resources on the history of Islam, the present article seeks to investigate the prophetic mission of the holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.) and its effective approach towards guiding the people of the Arabian Peninsula and changing their cultural status and demonstrate how the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) managed to influence the people whose culture was typically associated with injustice, ethnic and racial show-off, slavery, entombing girls alive, looting, breaking down agreements, murder and eating carrion and who had apparently deviated from the path of the truth . |
